Outdoor cushions

The comfort, qualities and considerations of Bramblecrest’s furniture cushions

At Bramblecrest we know that our cushions are an important feature of our furniture designs. On a warm dry day, our gardens or balconies are a place to spend time lounging, dining or just hanging out and we know you want to do this in comfort. We also know that cushions need to withstand seasonal showers as well as a few spills here and there.

Season-proof cushions

With over two decades of experience, we have fine-tuned our cushion technology. All our ranges benefit from our season-proof ‘soft-touch’ cushions. Back-coated with a water-resistant liner to prevent water ingress, our practical cushions can be exposed to showers. Whilst the outer covers may retain water, they will dry after several hours of ensuing warm, dry weather. This year we have introduced a smart new ‘herringbone’ pattern fabric which features in our new Chedworth range, in a Dusk or Barley shade.

Eco cushions

We have extended the ranges which feature our innovative, Eco cushions. The outer fabric of these cushions is made with yarn spun from recycled plastic bottles. Incorporating season-proof technology, Eco cushions are not only helpful for improving the environment, they are also soft, durable and water-resistant. Made in a variety of colourways – Charcoal, Oat, Pebble, Cobble and Fawn Linen - they are included in our woven and aluminium collections.

How to clean season-proof cushions

We know that spillages are inevitable when entertaining alfresco. Our cushions are simple to clean - watch our handy video How to Clean Season-Proof Cushions

How to store season-proof cushions

Although our cushions are able to cope with rain showers, during extended periods of poor weather, we advise that cushions are dry-stored in a Bramblecrest storage box, storage bag or in an outbuilding. We also recommend that cushions are stored away during prolonged periods of non-use.

Safety considerations

As a member of the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA), we provide quality products in accordance with the LOFA Code of Practice. Accredited as LOFA Assured, all our cushions comply with Trading Standards and Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) fire safety regulations.
